Twin Springs Sweet Red and Thunderbird Wine...

Here is a combo that the Winos picked up the other day. Twin Springs Sweet Red and Thunderbird Wine.

We had the Twin Springs Sweet Red in the past and liked it. Never had Thunderbird Wine. Twin Springs get a Good Rating; for Thunderbird, we will pass on it going forward!

Twin Springs Sweet Red

- Additional notes: Here is what we posted back in May 2011... "Sweet Red from Twin Springs Winery located in Tow, Texas!  A good starter wine for new enthusiasts.  Sweet... yes.  Low alcohol content... ~10%.  Almost like drinking grape juice.  But, both Winos agreed to buy this one again."

Royal Caribbean Cruise... Il Decantino!

Went on a cruise to the Gulf of Mexico on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. Stopped in Cozumel, Belize, and Honduras and had a great time!

Had the Beer and Wine Package and tried many wines and some beers. Did not find a wine that we did not like!

Of note was a decanter we picked up while dining one night at the Italian Restaurant onboard! Not sure what to call it... so, here are pictures of the device!

So far, we like it!

Ruffino Chianti

Been a while since we bought this one. Last time it was back in 2010. It's 2015. The vintage is 2013. Ruffino Chianti still gets a Good Rating from the Winos!

- Additional notes: Strong and tasty with 12.5% alcohol content!

Vendange Chardonnay and White Zinfandel

Tried the box servings of the Vendange Chardonnay and White Zinfandel. Like the bottled offering of the White Zinfandel, both get a Neutral Rating. White Wine Wino remains picky.. opting not to buy again in the future.

Red Wine Wino still liked the Chardonnay; 13% Alcohol Content is what made his decision. Hurrumph!

Vendange Pinot Grigio

Vendange Pinot Grigio gets a Neutral Rating. Not a big Pinot Grigio fan was likely the reason. Red Wine Wino was good with it but the White Wino opted not to buy again.

Sam's Club for Gabbiano Chianti

Picked up a bottle of Gabbiano Chianti at Sam's Club. Red Wine Wino still has a thing for Chianti. So, this one easily made the Good Rating!

Joe's Crab Shack - Shark Bite

Not wine but... was out for dinner last night at Joe's Crab Shack. Red Wine Wino opted for a mixed drink instead of a glass of Red Wine. Not sure what he was thinking but the "Limit Two" restriction for Shark Bite Drinks had him wondering if they were that strong.

Made with 151 Rum and other things, the Red Wine Wino mentioned it tasted good but did not feel a hint of a buzz that would warrant limiting customers to two,...White Wine Wino just thinks his tolerance for alcohol is the reason he did not feel anything.

Next time... skip the Shark Bite!
