Village Burger - Mangorita and Gummy Bear Shots

Winos broke away from wine this last round and stopped by a local hangout that offers tasty food and strong drinks at a reasonable price! Ordered Mangoritas and Gummy Bear Shots; both were tasty... and will say the Mangorita carries a healthy dose of alcohol!

Mi Camino Restaurante House Red - Malbec

New place that we tried for dinner last night. Mexican Food Restaurant in Dallas that is near Love Field Airport. While waiting for others to join us, ordered a glass of their House Red Wine. Choices given were a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Merlot.

Went with the Malbec; could not see the label on the bottle but was pleasantly surprised with the taste! Suspect it also had a 10%+ Alcohol Content as well.

This one gets a Good Rating from the Winos! Now, just gotta figure out the Winery that makes it.

The Velvet Devil Merlot

New one that gets a Good Rating. Comes from Washington State - The Velvet Devil Merlot!

Royal Caribbean Cruise - Wine Package

Had a great time on a cruise to the Gulf of Mexico on Royal Caribbean Cruise's Navigator of the Seas. Opted for the Beer and Wine Package. Did not find a Wine we did not like! Here are a few pics...

Twin Springs Sweet Red and Thunderbird Wine...

Here is a combo that the Winos picked up the other day. Twin Springs Sweet Red and Thunderbird Wine.

We had the Twin Springs Sweet Red in the past and liked it. Never had Thunderbird Wine. Twin Springs get a Good Rating; for Thunderbird, we will pass on it going forward!

- Additional notes: Here is what we posted back in May 2011... "Sweet Red from Twin Springs Winery located in Tow, Texas!  A good starter wine for new enthusiasts.  Sweet... yes.  Low alcohol content... ~10%.  Almost like drinking grape juice.  But, both Winos agreed to buy this one again."

Royal Caribbean Cruise... Il Decantino!

Went on a cruise to the Gulf of Mexico on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. Stopped in Cozumel, Belize, and Honduras and had a great time!

Had the Beer and Wine Package and tried many wines and some beers. Did not find a wine that we did not like!

Of note was a decanter we picked up while dining one night at the Italian Restaurant onboard! Not sure what to call it... so, here are pictures of the device!

So far, we like it!

Ruffino Chianti

Been a while since we bought this one. Last time it was back in 2010. It's 2015. The vintage is 2013. Ruffino Chianti still gets a Good Rating from the Winos!
