A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

More Grillin and Chillin... Fajitas Anyone?
Cooked up a batch of fajitas last night; while playing the chef, had a glass of Franzia Chillable Red. Always a tasty wine... don't worry that it is sold in a box. It is still good!

Franzia Chillable Red #wine #redwine
True to the Winos' rating system... a Good Rating means we would purchase the wine again in the future. In this case, Franzia Chillable Red earned a Good Rating several times over the years. This time, it earns it again... plus was on sale $12.99 for the 5 liter box! Woohoo!

Franzia - Chillable Red
Here is another red wine we picked up from Franzia.... It's their Chillable Red! Not a bad wine for the price - 5 liters for $12.00. Red Wine Wino easily rated this one as a Good! White Wine Wino followed in kind. A little light on the alcohol content for a red wine (9.0% on the box). Regardless, do try it when you get a chance.
