Been working, fishing, and more important - chillin' and grillin'. Finished the patio extension as well. That said, been behind on our posts... so, here is a pictorial of "tastings" since we last posted. Includes food, cocktails, and wines from Strebel Creek Vineyard, Waters Edge Winery, Messina Hof, Vojais, Sonoma Coast, Yellow Tail, Girls Gone Wine, and Fish Tales.
A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

Brandy, Martini, and Port... Oh My... Berry Nice!
How about some Amber Select Brandy, a Martini, and Messina Hof Port Wine? Red Wine Wino says, "Sure Thing!"
- Amber Select Brandy was tasty and carries the 80 proof alcohol content. But, had Minute Maid Berry Fruit Punch and WOW! Very Tasty!
- Martini was mixed at a restaurant; was tasty but no strength... need the one's from Bar Louie!
- Messina Hof Port Wine remains a sure thing... sweet and strong alcohol content.

Gaylord Texan Vineyard and Messina Hof Wines...
While out last weekend, stopped a the Gaylord Resort and spied a couple of wine things that we thought were interesting. Checked out the Vineyard that is on the resort grounds, and then saw several bottles of Messina Hof Wines that looked different than what we normally have been buying! May need to breakdown and buy a bottle or two for "tasting" purposes of course!
