A sweet and tasty Moscato from Red Road Winery in Texas. Picked this one up at the Wine Tasting Valentine's event hosted by the Dallas Farmers Market.
A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

Lots to cook, so lots of time to "taste" a glass or two... both Winos give these two the Good Rating!
Plan to buy more in the future! Too bad Charlie the Maltese Puppy can only lick the condensation on the glass... gotta be 21 buddy!

Los Pinos Ranch Moscato
Los Pinos Ranch Moscato is a sweet moscato that maybe of interest to some. White Wine Wino mentioned a dryness, but had no problems downing a glass or two. Red Wine Wino had no problems having a glass, or two, or three... while chillin' in the backyard!

90 Moscato D'Asti #moscato
New one that we have not tried before - 90 Moscato d'Asti. Comes from Moscato d'Asti winery in Italy. Tasty and sweet, just like the White Wine Wino likes. 6.5% Alcohol Content has the Red Wine Wino wavering but it is tasty, so ... giving this one a Good Rating and will buy again.

Bath House Row Winery - Moscato and Muscadine Wines
Took advantage of being in the state of Arkansas and picked up bottles of Moscato and Muscadine wines from the Bath House Winery. Labels do not show the alcohol content but based on the "runs" when tasting them, looked like they are on the high end! Pictures are blurry but do keep in mind that the Winos plan to purchase them again when in the area. This one earns a Good Rating!

Duck Commander - Moscato
How about one from the Duck Commander Team! They make great duck calls and can get their share of ducks come Duck Season. As it turns out, they make a tasty Moscato, too! This one gets a Good Rating easily from the Winos!

Frutella Pear Moscato
Here is a Moscato that we have not tried before. Comes from Frutella and is made from pears! Tasty wine that is sweet and sparkling (so it is bubbly). Rated at 7% alcohol content, so teetotalers should not have an issue with a glass or two.
Red Wine Wino had no issues with it other than it needs a little more "umphh" in alcohol content. White Wine Wino liked it but does prefer Moscatos that don't bubble.
This one gets a Neutral Rating.

Arbor Mist Frozen Wine Cocktails - Moscato Mango Strawberry
Here is one the White Wino picked up while running errands. It comes from Arbor Mist and is one of several selections of their Frozen Wine Cocktails. Taste alone brings this one into the "Good Rating" but throw in the discount price (less than $2) and the cool packaging that makes it compliant wherever bottles are not allowed.
