A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

Becker Vineyards Chardonnay
Picked up this Chardonnay while out and about. Comes from Becker Vineyards in Texas. Strong alcohol content for a white wine at 13%, so the Red Wine Wino was okay with it. White Wine Wino had a mixed opinion for it. Taste was not quite there... This one gets a Neutral Rating.

Pinetti Primivito
Pinetti Primivito is a red wine that comes from Italy. Red Wine Wino was good with it but that was mainly because it's a red wine that gives him a good buzz. White Wine Wino says hold on this one; it gets a Neutral Rating.
Rex Goliath Free Range White Wine
Tried this one on a whim; liked their Merlot and Moscato, so why not try the Free Range White. Little difference in opinion between the Winos. Red Wine Wino would buy again; White Wine Wino would not.... this one gets a Neutral Rating.

Color Block Cabernet Sauvignon
Color Block Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Chile. Has 12% Alcohol Content and comes in a screw top instead of a cork. Red Wine Wino liked the strong alcohol content and was good with the taste. White Wine Wino opted not to purchase this one again. This one gets a Neutral Rating.

Franzia Moscato
Bought this one the other day. Took some time to finish it but it's done. A Moscato from Franzia Winery. Most times, the two Winos agree on purchasing Franzia's wines but in this case, the Moscato gets a Neutral Rating. The White Wine Wino liked it and was willing to buy it again in the future. The Red Wine Wino did not agree; something about the taste just did not sit right. True to their rating system, this one gets a Neutral Rating because the two cannot agree on purchasing it again in the future.

Xplorador Moscato
Xplorador Moscato comes from Chile. Gave it go over the Holidays. Red Wine Wino was too easy on it and would purchase it again. White Wine Wino said "no". Something about not liking the taste compared to other Moscatos tried. This one gets a "Neutral Rating".
