Yellowtail Pinot Noir Shiraz

Here is a red wine that comes from Yellowtail Winery of Australia.  We liked their Shiraz; we also like this one - a mix of Pinot Noir and Shiraz!  This one gets a Good Rating from the Winos!

Margarita Time at Gloria's

Continuing with the Margarita break, stopped at Gloria's Restaurant for Happy Hour.  We still consider this the best Margarita in our area... just be careful, don't drink more than two else it will be painful the next morning!

PS:  Could not pass up the Ice Cream and Plantain Dessert!

Margarita Time at Jalapenos

Decided to take a Margarita break and stopped at a local eatery that we have not been to in a long time.  It is a Tex-Mex Restaurant called Jalapenos.  Ordered the Traditional Margarita as the Mercedes Premium Margarita is very good but very strong in alcohol content.  They still make a good Margarita!

Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon

Here is a red wine we liked; easily earned a Good Rating as both Winos agreed to purchase it again in the future.  Comes from Robert Mondavi... Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2010.  Do give this one a try.

Londoner Pub - House Wine and a Mixed Drink

Listened to a live band while sitting at a local eatery - Londoner Pub.  Ordered their House Wine and a mixed drink called the Fleur De Lis.  House wine was a Merlot that the Winos liked, easily earning a Good Rating.

Mixed drink was tasty, too.  It's made with Chambord Vodka, Chambord Liquer, Lemonade, Cranberry, and a squeeze of Lemon!

Barefoot Winery's Pink Moscato

Having tried their other Moscatos, noticed this one on the shelf at the local grocery store -  Barefoot Winery's Pink Moscato.  Rated at 9% Alcohol Content, so it's a little less than their Sweet Moscato, this one gets a "Good Rating" from the Winos!  Reminds us of the Sweet Moscato but has a "Zinfandel" feel to it.  Regardless, it tastes good and it's light on the pocket book.

Church Street BBQ - House Reds

One more stop while roaming the off-campus area known locally as the Northgate back at Texas A&M.  This one was not there back when the two Winos went to school back in the day.  But, we liked the live music, so we stopped to check them out.  While there, ordered a Ziegenbock Beer and then their House Reds they offered.  Guess what... the House Reds were Barefoot Winery's Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.  "Good Ratings" for both of them!
