A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

Hidden Crush Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
New red wine we have not tried before. It comes from California from the Hidden Crush Winery. It's a Cabernet Sauvignon vintage 2014. Forgot how much it costs per bottle; no worries, this one gets a Good Rating from the Winos! It comes with a screw top but don't let it fool you... it has a 13.5% alcohol content to makes things interesting!

Beer and Wine Tasting at the Grocery Store
While out this weekend, stopped at the Whole Foods Grocery Store on Dallas. Stumbled on the beer and wine tasting bar in the store! May need to volunteer for more errands to rhe grocery store in the future!

Bath House Row Winery - Moscato and Muscadine Wines
Took advantage of being in the state of Arkansas and picked up bottles of Moscato and Muscadine wines from the Bath House Winery. Labels do not show the alcohol content but based on the "runs" when tasting them, looked like they are on the high end! Pictures are blurry but do keep in mind that the Winos plan to purchase them again when in the area. This one earns a Good Rating!
New Wine To Try from Hot Springs...
Tried a new wine while out and abour in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It's a Muscadine Wine. Never tried it till now but the Winos do like it. Has a sweet taste with a "moonshininess" taste to it!
Arlington Resort and Spa, Hot Springs, Arkansas
While out and about in Hot Springs, had a Dirty Martini at the Arlington Resort and Spa... also, enjoyed the sites, the mineral bath, and dining!
