Stopped for dinner at Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina; by chance, it was also National Tequila Day!
In celebration ordered their Flight of Margaritas, and then tried the Spicy Watermelon Shots made with Ghost Tequila! Spicy but smooth shot; not the burning taste that we typically get when downing shots of tequila... who said that?
Anyhow, both Winos continue to give the Flight of Margaritas from Papa Lopez a Good Rating. For the Ghost Tequila, the Winos give a Good Rating, too. Will definitely buy it again in the future!
PS: Shots were free; the owner of Ghost Tequila was in the restaurant and bought us a round! Woohoo!
A web log started by two Wine Enthusiasts, synonym for "Winos". Its intent is to log our thoughts and opinions about inexpensive wines available at local grocery and beverage stores. Our hope is to prevent other "Winos" from making the same mistakes we made with our wine purchases.

Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina Margaritas!
Off to Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina for a flight of Margaritas for Happy Hour last week. Both Winos agree to comeback as these are tasty and strong... just the way they like their margaritas!

Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina #margaritas
Lucked into some tasty and strong Margaritas at Papa Lopez Mexican Cantina located just off the 121 Tollway heading to Allen, TX.
We came in for lunch, then saw the "Flight of Margaritas" on the drink menu. Choose 6 of 7 flavors to make a Flight! Also, tried the Margarita with Sangria Swirl.
Reasonable prices with strong Margaritas which is the way we like them. Will be back!
