Liberty Creek Sweet Red

Last time we purchased Liberty Creek's Sweet Red was in 2012. Should have looked at our blog post back then. We really liked it then; we really liked it again when we had it the other day. Moreover, the price remains under $6.00 for the big bottle!

Here is what we wrote in 2012 for reference; still applies today!

Here is one that took us by surprise.  White Wine Wino was on an errand and came home with a bottle of Sweet Red from Liberty Creek Winery.  Have had other wines from Liberty Creek and liked them.

In this case, liked it as well to the point that the White Wine Wino went back for more bottles to keep in the wine rack. 

Both agreed to buy again, earning a Good Rating from the Winos.

Moreover, the White Wine Wino rates this one Number One of Sweet Reds purchased to date!  Red Wine Wino concurs!

Don't pass this one up if you like Sweet Reds.

Liberty Creek Merlot

Have had Liberty Creek Merlot more than  once over the years. Winos have held true to their rating system - Good means we will purchase the wine again in the future. For Liberty Creek, a quick check of past posts showed we did purchase again and again and... past posts.

Tried this one while on the road in Kansas.  Merlot offered by Liberty Creek Winery.  Really liked this one; strong alcohol content (or maybe it was because we had not eaten dinner yet).  Rating this one as "Good"!

Stopped by the convenience store on the commute home the other day; noticed Liberty Creek offers a Sweet Red. Bought it and headed to the casa... guess what? Package arrived from Grapecreek Vineyard; our Wine Club wines arrived!

Was a dilemma, which one to open first! No worries... the Winos are taking it slow. So for now... it was the Liberty Creek Sweet Red which both Winos gave it a Good Rating - means we will buy it again per our rating system.

Later, had a Grapecreek Vineyard Cuvee Blanc that came from an earlier wine club package. Watched some Game of Thrones with it. This one gets a Neutral Rating - means the Winos could not agree to but it again.

Then, the Red Wine Wino went fishing at some point, caught fish, and then chilled with a glass of Grapecreek Vineyard Serendipity. This one gets a Good Rating!

More to come, do stay tuned... we still have Grapecreek Vineyard Viogner and Rendevous to "taste".  Plus ordered more of their Cabernet Blanc (aka Sauvignon)... our favorite so far from Grapecreek Vineyard!

Liberty Creek Merlot

Red Wine Wino had a craving for Merlot.   Did not want a wine in the box variety this round.  Opted for Liberty  Creek's Merlot.  Like the taste; like the price!  This one keeps its Good Rating.

Choctaw Casino House Wine - Liberty Creek Merlot

Was out hitting the slots at Choctaw Casino.  Ordered a House Red Wine; turned out to be Liberty Creek Merlot!  We liked this one in the past; we still like it now.  The Winos give it another "Good Rating"!

Liberty Creek Moscato

Had other offerings from Liberty Creek; this one is their Moscato. Light on the alcohol content at 8% but does have a good taste and a low price at under $10 for the "big bottle"! White Wine Wino was good with it; Red Wine Wino wanted more than the 8% alcohol content. This one gets a "Neutral Rating".

Shiner Strawberry Blonde and Liberty Creek Merlot

Chillin' the other day with a new beer - Shiner in their Strawberry Blonde! Also, went back to Liberty Creek Merlot as we do prefer wine over beer... more alcohol content in wine!

Liberty Creek Chardonnay

White Wine Wino likes this one! Red Wine Wino is still thinking about it. True to our rating system, Liberty Creek Chardonnay gets a Neutral Rating since the Winos cannot agree to purchase again.

Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Here is one that gets a Good Rating from the Winos.  Had Liberty Creek's other offerings and have been happy.  The Cabernet Sauvignon holds its own as well.  12% Alcohol Content, less than $6 for the bigger bottle, and it tastes good!

Who can resist a big bottle of wine for under $8.00 and it tastes good, too! Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon maintains its Good Rating this round!

Back for more... Liberty Creek Merlot

Back for more Liberty Creek wine... this time went with their Merlot; had it before and liked it. Had it again. Still liking it! Winos give it a Good Rating.

Liberty Creek White Zinfandel

Picked up a big bottle of Liberty Creek White Zinfandel at a local convenience store.  Had tried there Merlot and Sweet Red before and liked them.  This one gets a Good Rating, too.  Both Winos agreed on future purchases.

Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Had this one back in March... Here is what we wrote:

Ste Genevieve - Sweet Red

Another sale on Sweet Reds.  This one comes from Ste Genevieve Winery.

The Winos agreed to purchase it again; so it gets a Good Rating. 

However, still holding fast on Liberty Creek's Sweet Red as the Number One Sweet Red purchased to date by the Winos!
